Fire Chief Hat 07232019.png DRAPER, Utah (KUTV) — A paraglider was flown to the hospital after crashing near a hiking trail in Draper. Battalion Chief Robert Lambert with Draper Fire said the a male in his 30s was involved in a paragliding crash Thursday night. Due to the location of the crash, a rescue team had to hike to the victim. He was then hoisted from the area via helicopter. Given the severity of his injuries, Lambert said the man was airlifted to a local hospital rather than being transported by ambulance.
